*  When you want to extend the RS-232 conversion cable, use a straight cable.

Attaching the Ferrite Cores

1. 

Open an included ferrite core by spreading apart the tabs at two places.

2. 

Attach the ferrite core to an HDMI cable, LAN cable, or RS-232 conversion cable.

*  Close the ferrite core by pressing down on each tab until it clicks into place.

Attach near the base of the plug at 

the end that connects to the unit.

Connection Examples

*  For a connection to the HDBaseT connector, use a Cat5e (Category 5e) or higher shielded LAN cable.

*  *For a connection to the RS-232 connector, use the included RS-232 conversion cable.

This unit is a transmitter/receiver for long-distance transmission of HDMI signals over up to 100 meters using a single LAN cable (Cat5e or higher).

Attaching an AC Adaptor Insertion Plug

1. 

Attach an included AC adaptor insertion plug to the AC adaptor.

*  Attach the insertion plug for your country or region.
*  Attach the insertion plug by pressing it in until it clicks into place.
*  Be sure always to use the included AC adaptor with the unit.

To detach, pull out the insertion plug 

while squeezing the left and right 

sides of the lock section inward.
