Panel Descriptions

INPUT jacks
Connect your electric guitar here. Use either the HIGH or LOW jack
according to the output level of your guitar. Normally you’ll connect
to the HIGH input. If your guitar has an especially high output and
distorts easily, connect it to the LOW input.

Channel select
[CH SELECT] button
Switches between the CLEAN channel and the CRUNCH channel.
[DUAL TONE] button
Mixes the CLEAN channel and the CRUNCH channel.
* If a foot switch is connected, the [CH SELECT] button and [DUAL
TONE] button don't do anything.

CLEAN channel
Lets you create a broad range of sounds from undistorted clean
sound to light overdrive.
[VOLUME] knob
Adjusts the volume of the clean channel. If BOOST is off, settings
of 0–6 will provide undistorted clean sound, and settings of 6–12
provide a light crunch sound with some power-amp distortion.
[BOOST] button
Turning the [BOOST] button on provides a nice crunch sound.
[TONE] button
Brightens the mid- and high-frequency ranges, making the sound
crisper.

CRUNCH channel
[GAIN] knob
Adjusts the gain (amount of distortion) of the crunch channel.
[VOLUME] knob
Adjusts the volume of the crunch channel.
[BOOST] button
Turning the [BOOST] button on raises the gain of the CRUNCH
channel. Adjust the [GAIN] knob to change from crunch sound to
hard distortion.
[TONE] button
Brightens the mid- and high-frequency ranges, making the sound
crisper.
