How to update
1.
Extract/uncompress the downloaded zipped file "bk9_sys_v105.zip" (5
files):
- PROGRAM.BIN
- release.txt
- rom.bin
- startup
- update
2.
Connect the USB memory to your computer.
3.
Delete all existing files from the USB memory and then copy the above
content (5 files) to the USB memory's root folder.
Note: Do not copy the “bk9_sys_v105.zip” file or the “bk9_sys_v105”
folder. Copy the 5 individual files themselves.
4.
Disconnect the USB memory from your computer as follows:
[ Windows ]
Use the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Windows task tray to un-mount
the USB memory and then disconnect the USB memory from your computer.
[ Mac ]
Drag the Drive icon of the USB memory into the trash in the dock and then
remove the USB memory from your computer.
5.
Turn off the BK-9’s power and then plug the USB memory into the BK-9's
USB MEMORY port.
6.
Press and hold the [
WRITE
] button and then power on the BK-9 . Hold the
WRITE Button until the "Update Mode:" text appears on the top line of the
LCD of BK-9.
7.
Wait until the end of the update; the display will show "SUCCESS ".
Note
: The update procedure takes about 20 minutes. During the update the
LCD content may change a few times.
8.
Turn off the BK-9.
