1.5. Electrical installation
The appliance requires a single-phase 230 V supply. It is necessary
to check carefully that the supply voltage agrees with the required
voltage of the appliance. The heater does not need installation
requirements outside the norm, therefore it is suitable for
installation in accordance with the Electrotechnical Low Voltage
Regulations.
The power supply will have to be wired through a omnipolar
interrupter, circuit breaker or contactor. The installation must be
protected with fuses of a rating that corresponds with the intensity
absorbed. The socket must be placed in such a way that when
the heater is installed the plug is accessible. An earth connection
must be included throughout the electrical installation. In order to
ensure this connection the plug comes provided with the relevant
contact. It is important that the style of any other plug used is the
same type as the one provided with the appliance.
The electrical system of the premises or house must be checked
to ensure that it is equipped with an “EARTH” wire. This appliance
complies with the regulations on radio-electric disturbances and
interferences.
NOTE:
All maintenance and replacement of the fittings is prohibited
(including the feed cable), unless it is authorised by the Technical
Assistance Department.
