●
every VNA port that is not connected to a matrix is assigned to a test port
●
the test ports are numbered consecutively, starting with 1

Usage:
Event
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:SMATrix:CONFigure:STARt
Starts a manual RF connection configuration.
Note:
a manual RF connection configuration must be performed within a transaction,
enclosed by the commands
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:SMATrix:
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:SMATrix:CONFigure:
. The modified configuration will not be applied until the end of this transaction.
An RF connection configuration comprises the RF connections between the VNA, a set
of switch matrices and the DUT test ports.
At transaction start the R&S
ZNB/ZNBT creates an in-memory copy of the active con-
figuration and strips off all RF conncections from this copy. Subsequent RF connection
actions such as
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:SMATrix<Matr>:CONFigure:
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:SMATrix<Matr>:CONFigure:MTESt
operate on the copy.
However, the copy contains the very same switch matrices as the original, so the ade-
quate set of matrices has to be selected beforehand (using manual control or the
remote command
).
If a previous transaction is active, it will be silently rolled back.
Note
that a redefinition of the physical VNA ports (see
) causes a factory reset and deletes all switch matrix RF connections. So the RF
configuration for switch matrices has to be done
after
the port redefinition.
