Defining the clock
The provided clock signals are not dedicated to a particular connector. They can be
mapped to one or more USER x and T/M/C connectors.
Use the
Local and global connectors settings
to configure the signal mapping, the
polarity, the trigger threshold, and the input impedance of the input connectors.
To route and enable a trigger signal, perform the following
general steps

Define the signal source, that is select the "Clock > Source".

Define the connector where the selected signal is provided.

Clock Source
Selects the clock source.

"Internal"
The instrument uses its internal clock reference.

"External Local Clock"

The instrument expects an external clock reference at the local T/M/C connector.
"External Local Clock" requires R&S
SMW-B10.
