5 Maintenance and Service
5.1 Cleaning
Always turn off the power and unplug the AC/DC adapter before cleaning. The exterior of the display
may be wiped with a clean, soft and lint-free cloth. Non-ammonia, non-alcohol based glass cleaner can be
applied to the cloth if necessary. An air gun is recommended for cleaning water and dust. Salt water can
be cleaned with fresh water only.
5.2 Calibration
If the input of the touch screen is imprecise, the touch screen can be calibrated with the device driver’s
calibration application. If the roda driver suite is used, the calibration application can be found in the start
menu. Click “
Start
”
“
All Programs
”
“
UDDP
”
“
Calibrate
” and follow the instructions. Depending on
the used operating system, the calibration can also be performed with the calibration tool of the operating
system itself. For optimal touch screen operation the reading points should be touched as accurate as pos-
sible. Please note: to avoid parallax errors you should be directly in front of the display during calibration.

Please note
: If possible use a stylus pen to operate the touch screen. Operating the touch screen with
your fingers may contaminate the touch screen and decrease the touch screen sensitivity and the
presentation of the display. Additionally operating with a stylus pen is less error prone.
