The Z21 app also allows you to carry out CV programming to further optimise the driving response and there-
fore the pleasure of driving.
The models which are equipped with a RailCom © -capable ZIMO decoder also feature the innovative CV pro-
gramming using POM. This permits the respective decoder to be addressed directly and read “live”. This is
particularly helpful, for example, when adapting the locomotive driving characteristics (such as the starting
voltage, acceleration and braking characteristics as well as the sound decoder volume). Here the appropriate
characteristic curves can be automatically read, evaluated and graphically edited.
This renders a programming track and the constant changeover between your locomotives superfluous. In the
case of decoders without RailCom © , it is of course also possible to make use of conventional CV program-
ming, which is additionally offered by the innovative programming aid.
One innovation in the CV programming is the direct display of the corresponding bits, which assists in parti-
cular in case of more complicated programming, such as the function mapping.
