Cable/wire routing
Standard routing
• Routing cables is always easiest in a workstand.
• Remove the access hatch and pull the cable pass-through clamp out.
• Disassemble the clamp to replace the housing or hoses.
• To route dropper post housing or hoses, remove the access hatch.
• Route the housing from front to back, using the port to guide the housing up the seat tube.
• Remember to install the supplied foam noise-cancelling tubes over the housing/hoses when replacing housing.
• For alloy frames, pulling the housing/hoses slowly out of the slots in the tubing will expose the foam tubes, allowing you to remove them.
PLEASE NOTE
It is extremely important to allow a 45 mm loop of housing/hose under the bottom bracket to allow for suspension compression.
Also, a zip tie connecting the two is critical to prevent damage to both the shift housing and brake hose.
