Major fall
The use of the product must be discontinued following a major hard fall. In case of any doubts, send the product to
the manufacturer for inspection. Never forget that your life and safety are worth much more than a new Lanyard.
Cleaning
A dirty Lanyard can be washed in clean water and mild detergents (max. 30°C) and left to dry properly in a dark
and well-ventilated room.
Disinfection
Should disinfection be necessary, the agent used must be suitable for use with polyamide and polyester. Dilute the
agent in clean water (max temperature of 30°C) and leave to take effect on the Lanyard for one hour. Following
that, wash it in clean water and leave to dry in a low-heated, dark and well-ventilated room.
Chemicals
Protect the product from getting in contact with corrosives and solvents (acids). These chemicals are very
dangerous for metals and synthetic fibers.
Transporting and storage
Store the Lanyard at a dry, dark and well-ventilated place. Protect it from the effects of long-term UV radiation. Do not store or
leave it to dry close to heat sources. Do not store the Lanyard while being twisted too much or laden.
Doprava – výrobek musí být přepravován v obalu (např.: impregnovaná textilie, sáček z fólie nebo plastu), aby se
zabránilo vzniku vad způsobených vlhkostí nebo mechanickými, chemickými nebo jinými vlivy.
Temperature
We recommend that the Lanyard be used in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C. At these temperatures,
the product retains required strength.
Service life and inspections
The life of textile products is 10 + 5 years (
5 years on condition of storage in compliance with manufacturer´s
instructions, 10 years from the first use)
.
All-metal product life is limited by functionality, wear, deformation and oxidization (corrosion).
Should the authorized
person establish that the product is not capable of further safe use, it is their responsibility to recommend discontinuation of its
further use although its life time has not elapsed yet.
Metal and textile products must be checked at least once in 12 months by the manufacturer or a person
authorized to check personal protective equipment of category III and simple structure (hereinafter "authorized
person"), such as IRATA and SPRAT LEVEL 3 etc. These checks should also be performed after emergency
occurrence (fall, aggressive chemical environment, mechanical damage or doubt of the user).
Warranty
The MANUFACTURER provides a 3-year warranty covering material and production defects.
