• Scan the barcodes on the bottles of C1 calibration solution 1, C2 calibration solution 2
and the C3 fluid pack (exception: the waste water bottle, which does not have a bar-
code) (see Fig. 25/1).
• The Roche OMNI C recognizes the correct solution and checks the expiration date. On
the screen, the respective bottle starts blinking. If the bottle has passed the expiration
date, the screen displays a warning.
Confirm with the button.
Remove rubber sealings from C3 Fluid Pack before inserting it!

Insert the bottle completely into the appropriate position, following the instructions on
the docking mechanism (see Fig. 25/2). The bottles are opened automatically.
• Close the docking mechanism.
Check the positions of the bottles by matching the labels on the docking mechanisms to
the labels on the bottles (see Fig. 25/3).

• Open locking lever.
• Follow the instructions on the screen.
