Daily operation
Replacing ISE fluid bottles A bottle with a blue label for ISE Calibrator indirect/urine and a bottle with a red
label for ISE Reference Solution are located on the ISE unit. The procedure for
exchanging these bottles is the same.

Follow the instructions given in
Replacing ISE fluid bottles
on page E-30
.

When you have finished replacing electrodes and ISE fluid bottles, press to
proceed to the next stage in the Prepare wizard.
A screen is displayed that lists the maintenance actions.
Performing maintenance actions
The routine maintenance actions that are relevant for working with the ISE unit are
integrated in one single maintenance action:
Daily Prepare Actions .

To perform maintenance actions

Select Daily Prepare Actions .

Press .
The maintenance definition screen is displayed.

Follow the instructions given on the screen.

Perform the non-routine ISE maintenance actions.
Follow the instructions given on the screen.
o
Allow at least 15 seconds for priming the ISE bottle before continuing with any
other activity, e.g. replacing the other ISE bottle.
o
After replacing an ISE fluid bottle, the
Prime ISE Reference and Calib.
mainte-
nance action needs to be performed. This action will be performed as part of the
maintenance procedure of the
Prepare
wizard.
o
After replacing an ISE fluid bottle, a main calibration needs to be performed. This
action will be performed as part of the
Daily Prepare Actions .
When performing maintenance actions without using the Prepare wizard:
