The table below shows the possible malfunctions, what brought them about and the solutions to follow:
MALFUNCTION
CAUSE
SOLUTION
1. Smoke mislead or
insufficient air intake.
Inadequate pipe.
Insufficient air for combustion
Check pipe:
-connection
-diameter
-leaks
-insufficient length
-outlet
-blockage
Check the flue draught entry
Other ventilation or heating device work
simultaneously
2. Glass (too dirty)
Inadequate pipe.
Inadequate fuel.
Upper deflected panel misadjusted
Check pipe
Use authorized fuel
Adjust according directions
3. Whitening of the glass
or damage the color of the
plate
Excess temperature caused by an
excessive
fire
in
the
combustion
chamber
Check the fuel load
Set the registers according to paragraph
2.2.
4. Little heating
Inadequate fuel.
Inadequate air inlet to smokestack
Authorized fuel
Check chamber and seal to the flue
5. Smoke going out
through front door.
First lit.
Flammable or combustible elements
inside the fireplace or around.
Crack in the flue.
Upper deflected panel misadjusted
Wait for the polymerisation process (more
than one lit)
Check insulation material (glass fibre,
igneous wood or other elements), possibly
replace them
Check for cracks and call dealer
Adjust according directions.
6. Cracks in some parts of
vermiculite inside
Beat in one of the pieces performed,
especially at the time of recharge
Try not to pull the logs but put
Perform charging where the temperature of
the combustion chamber has decreased
NOTE: If the part is only cracked but
does not move from your site, you can
continue using the device with absolute
normality
(see section 2.6. Loading and
refueling)
