Manual
1S Voltage Booster
Item. Nr.: R01611
Function of Voltage Boosters:
Many receivers and servos need 5-6 volts for correct operation. In some classes (1/12 On Road, Rock Crawler, micro models, ...) with using only one
lithium cell the voltage is not high enough and that can lead to failures, damage to equipment and people.
There is the need for the voltage booster, it provides stable 5.9 volts to the on-board electronics.
Installation:
Carefully follow the instructions of the device since a wrong installation or wrong connection may defect your receiver or the voltage booster.
The cables are designed in red (positive) and black (negative) for easy identification. If reversed (wrong connection) the Voltage Booster will be
destroyed immediately!
1.
Connect the Voltage Booster to the battery connector of your speedcontrol.
2.
Plug the Voltage Booster with the blue JR connector into the battery slot from your receiver.
3.
Check all connections and solder joints and connect the battery to the battery connector.
4.
The red LED indicates the correct function.
Note to cut the power completely after the ride, otherwise the battery will be damaged by undervoltage!
