Safety Precautions

This page applies to the R1 speaker and the optional battery pack.

• 

There are no user serviceable parts inside this product or battery pack.

Do not attempt to open or disassemble any part of the product or battery

Do not allow the product or battery pack to be exposed to water, moisture, 
steam or sand.

•  The product must only be used with the mains adaptor supplied with 

your Roberts R1 speaker, or a genuine replacement provided by Roberts 
Radio. Do not use any alternative power source as a charger.

To maintain the compliance with the WiFi RF exposure requirement, place 
the product at least 20 cm (8 inches) from nearby persons except when 
operating the controls. 

•  The AC/DC adaptor, speaker or battery pack shall not be exposed to

Disposal of the battery pack

  

• 

When the battery pack reaches the end of its life it will be unable 
to power the speaker for any useful amount of time.

•  The battery pack should be disposed of at a domestic waste 

recycling centre.

•  Do not dispose of the battery pack in household refuse or by 

incineration.

The battery pack is an optional accessory for your R1 speaker.

•  The battery pack is designed only for use with the Roberts R1 

and R100 audio products. It should not be used as a battery 
power source for other devices.

• 

Do not puncture, crush, modify, or cause any unnecessary shock
