05. PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS
1. Brake: [1] off (default), [2] soft, [3] hard, [4] very hard
2. Battery type: [1] LiPo- (default), [2] NiCd / NiMH Zellen
3. Cut-Off voltage: [1] low, [2] medium (default), [3] high
For nickel batteries: The low / medium / high cut-off voltage is 50 % / 65 % / 75 % of the initial voltage
of the battery.
For LiPo batteries: The controller counts the battery cells automatically. The switch-off thresholds have
the following values: Low (2.8 V) / medium (3.0 V) / high (3.2 V) Example: For 4S / 14.8 V LiPo batteries
the switch-off threshold is: 11.2 V low / 12.0 V medium / 12.8 V high.
4. Timing: 1] 0 degrees, [2] 3.75 degrees, [3] 7.5 degrees, [4] 11.25 degrees, [5] 15 degrees (default), [6]
18.75 degrees, [7] 22.5 degrees, [8] 26.25 degrees
low timing levels: (0 degrees / 3.75 degrees / 7.5 degrees / 11.25 degrees / 15 degrees / 18.75 de-
grees) for most inrunners
high timing levels: (22.5 degrees / 26.25 degrees) for 6-pole or multipole outrunners
Usually: 15 degrees for all outrunner motors. However, to improve efficiency, we recommend setting low
timing for 2-pole motors (for most inrunner motors) and high timing for 6-pole and multipole motors (for
most outrunner motors). If you use a high performance motor, you can set a high timing. Some motors
require special timing. If you are not sure, you should set the timing as recommended by the motor
manufacturer or 15 degrees.
Note: After changing the timing, test the drive very carefully before flying.
5. Start Mode: Start up with linear acceleration
[1] Normal: Preferred for fixed-wing models (default).
[2] Soft: Preferred for helicopter models, ramp-up from 0 % to 100 % takes 6 seconds.
[3] Very soft: Preferred for special helicopter models, ramp-up from 0% to 100% takes 12 seconds.
6. Governor Mode: [1] off (default), [2] low, [3] high
When Governor mode is activated, the controller tries to keep the motor at a fixed speed (normally the
throttle curve is then a horizontal line, you can change the set motor speed by changing the height of
the curve).
[1] Off (default)
[2] Low: Low constant speed mode, 10,000 - 20,000 rpm, for 2-pole motors.
[3] High: Mode for high constant speed, over 20,000 rpm, for 2-pole motors.
Note: The governor mode function is automatically deactivated if the throttle setting is below 60%.
7. PWM frequency: [1] 8 kHz, [2] 16 kHz (default), [3] 24 kHz
For motors with a high number of poles and high speed, a higher PWM frequency can make the motor
run quieter, but at the same time the switching losses become greater and the temperature rise higher.
8. BEC output voltage: [1] 5 V (default), [2] 6 V, [3] 7,4 V, [4] 8,4 V
The high voltages cannot be used for all servos and receivers, the components must be designed for
this.
9. Cut-off Mode:
[1] Reduce power (default): If the battery voltage drops to the set voltage threshold, the controller first
reduces the motor power and then switches off.
[2] Switch off: If the battery voltage drops to the set voltage threshold, the controller switches off the
motor power immediately.
10. Battery cells: Only available in LiPo mode[1] Automatic determination of cell count (default), [2] 2S, [3]
3S, [4] 4S, [5] 5S, [6] 6S
You can set the options according to your battery pack
11. Rotation direction:
[1] Normal (default): The motor rotates in the normal direction.
[2] Reversed: The direction of rotation of the motor is changed.
12. Active Switch Continued Flow: [1] Off (default), [2] On
The ASCF (Active Switch Continued Flow) technology (higher efficiency) massively reduces the heat
generation of the controller.
13. Reverse function [1]Off (default) [2]On : Plug reverse signal wire into an two-stage switch channel on
the receiver ,to reverse the motor rotation during the flight to decelerate. The lowest point of the pulse
width range of the 2-stage switch channel must be less than the lowest point of throttle. (e.g. the lowest
point of throttle is 1000, then the lowest point of pulse width of 2-stage switch channel should be less
than 1000).
Effective conditions : 1. Reverse function - on; 2. Governor mode - off; 3. Brake – on (soft).
14. reset, factory setting:
If the beep indicates „Restore factory settings“ mode, move the throttle stick to the zero position within
5 seconds of activating the beep for Reset mode. There is no submenu in this mode. The motor will then
emit a special beep sequence, meaning that the default settings have been restored.
15. End: (programming mode terminated)
When the corresponding beep sounds, move the throttle to the lower position to exit the programming
mode of the program. The engine will then output a special beep sequence. It indicates that the con-
troller has changed to the normal operating mode.
