15.9 Connector Pinouts
D-Sub Analog Inputs
The 25 pin D-sub connectors of the analog inputs are wired according to the Tascam scheme,
as shown in this table:

GND is connected to pins 2, 5, 8, 11, 16, 19, 22, 25. Pin 13 is unconnected.
The servo balanced input circuitry allows to use unbalanced connections with no loss in level.
For this to work, pins 3 (-) and 1 (GND) have to be connected.
TRS jacks analog inputs / outputs
The stereo ¼" TRS jacks of the analog inputs are wired according to international standards:
Tip = + (hot)
Ring =
–
(cold)
Sleeve = GND
The servo-balanced circuitry accepts monaural TS jacks (unbalanced) with no loss in level,
equalling a TRS-jack with its ring connected to ground.
