Wheel Fitting & Removal
Your Club Basketball wheelchair comes as
standard with quick release axles.
To remove the Wheel press the centre button
while griping the wheel. Pull the wheel out while
holding the button down.
To re insert the wheel hold the quick release
button in the centre of the wheel and insert it
into the axle hole. Be sure to hold button down
while inserting the wheel.
Please seek assistance if you are having trouble
fitting and removing your wheels.
Caution:
Before use, always ensure the wheels are secure and the release button is in the
‘out’ position.
Quick Release Axle Maintenance
The receiver for the axles should be regularly checked for tightness. There should not be any looseness
with the 28mm nut or 16mm axle insert. Should any looseness happen the axle receiver should be
secured with a 16mm spanner and the outer nut be tightened with a 28mm / adjustable spanner. The
gap from the inner tyre wall to the armrest should be equal on both sides.
Caution:
If you find any damage to your axles please contact RMA Sport so we can advise the best
course of action.
Axle Position
The rear axle can be adjusted forward or
backwards to change the centre of gravity.
This is adjusted for personal preference as a more
experienced user may prefer a more ‘active’
axle position.
To adjust the position, loosen the four bolts on
the underside of each axle mounting clamp and
adjust to the preferred position.
Each side must be on the same position indicator
mark and then re-tighten the bolts on the clamps.
Caution:
Please ensure that the clamp is secure after adjustment.
