* Not all listed cylinders have RKI part numbers (see pg. 57 for
cylinder part numbers). Contact RKI if you need a cylinder that
does not have a part number.
i. Install the calibration cup and use a humidifier to connect the regulator to the calibration cup’s
GAS IN fitting.
Hold the humidifier by the clear tubes at the end. Do not hold the humidifier tube
itself.
j. Turn the regulator knob counterclockwise to open it and allow the gas to flow for 2 minutes.
k. Press and release SET.
l. Turn the regulator knob clockwise to close it. Unscrew the regulator from the calibration cylinder.
Leave the calibration cup and humidifier attached to perform a calibration in step 12.
m. The load voltage is displayed. Adjust the load voltage to match the value shown below.

n. Press and release SET.
o. The display will either show PASS or the load voltage will flash. If the load voltage flashes,
adjust the voltage to the correct value, shown above, and press and release SET.
p. Press and release ESC to return to Maintenance Mode.
q. Press and hold ESC to return to Detection Mode.
12. Calibrate the detector as described on page 43.
<J-Box O-Ring Replacement>
1. Use a 4 mm hexagonal screwdriver (Allen wrench) to unscrew the 4 screws that secure the j-box lid to
the body. The screws are captive and will not fall out.
2. Remove the old O-ring.
3. Install the new O-ring in the groove. Make sure it sits flat.
4. Close the j-box lid and tighten the screws to a torque of 215.6 ± 24.5 N cm (22.0 ± 2.50 kgf cm).
