Bit pattern occupancy for actions
Recommended actions
We recommend using a PLC to move from stored (saved_ memory positions. The hand switch can
be reconfigured completely via the PLC. We also recommend a hand switch for setting up pro-
cedures, as the execution has advantages with this method.
7.3.7 Functional description of the PLC wiring
The lifting column is moved by populating the inputs with a certain pattern. The outputs from the
PLC or another controller must be present on the relevant outputs of the PLC/PC data interface
at high potential to execute a wanted action.
A low level at the inputs counts as not switched or logical 0.
To execute a movement, the input I10 (terminal 12) "PLC action" must be at high potential. This
is how the PLC/PC data interface is given the command to execute the movement.
The movement action is achieved by creating the corresponding pattern for the selected mode (4
or 8 bits).
