Air Pressure Switch - Crouzet Automation, PN 81513552
3.22.1
Pressure Switch Troubleshooting
To check and adjust the air pressure switch;
o
Open the electrical cabinet, locate the Air Pressure Switch, -301B5 (located in the
lower section of the electrical cabinet – near the incoming power feeds)
o
Note the state of the indicator light on –B301B5 (On/Off)
o
The green button on the pressure switch is an override switch - Used for testing.
o
If the Indicator light is off, the override switch will activate the switch and turn the
indicator on.
o
At the air regulator behind the machine, adjust the air pressure to just under 5 bar.
o
If the state of -301B5 did not change, adjust the adjustment screw, on the top of -
301B5, up until the indicator light switches state, HMI should display a fault message.
o
If after adjusting the pressure switch, the state does not change, the pressure switch
may have water in it or may have failed. In this case we need to replace it.
o
Be sure to adjust the air pressure back up to the required 6 bar pressure when the
procedure is complete.
3.22.2
Pressure Switch Electrical Checks
o
Terminal 1 (Common) is the input of the switch, check for 24vdc.
o
Terminal 4 (NO) is the output from the switch to the PLC, -32A3, IN 1.6, this should
have 24vdc if the pressure switch is measuring more than 5 bar pressure or the
override button is depressed.
o
Terminal 2 (NC) is unused.
