Touch [Create User] in the [User
Management] screen.

Touch the authentication registra-
tion number to be assigned to the
user.
The [Register] screen is displayed.

Register the information for
authentication.

When using PIN code
Enter the PIN code using the numeric keys.
The entered number is displayed.
■
When using USB flash drive
Insert a USB flash drive that is to be registered
for authentication.
The number specific to the USB flash drive is
displayed (you cannot change this number).
■
When using IC card
Hold the IC card to be registered for authentica-
tion over the reader.
The number specific to the IC card is displayed
(you cannot change this number).

Set the user information.
Set the following items as necessary.

[Rename]
You can change the user name. The name that
is set here will be displayed in “USERNAME” in
the CSV file that is saved in [ID Counter
Report] (

[Group]
You can set the group (department, etc.) to
which the user belongs. Once this item is set,
the total count for each group is displayed in
the CSV file that is saved in [ID Counter
Report] (
■
[Limit]
You can set the upper limit of the number of
copies that the user can use for master making
or printing.
