Combustion air must not be supplied from occupied
spaces of the manufactured home. Access panels,
doors or opening of any kind are not permitted
between the installation enclosure and the inside of
the manufactured home.
•
The installation enclosure must include an exterior
access door incorporating a single opening positioned
a maximum of 6 in. (152 mm) above the lower edge of
the door. The opening in the access door must be
metal with no less than 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) mesh.
•
The water heater is to be secured to the wall of the
manufactured home using the integrated mounting
brackets on the back side of the water heater.
