Danger of explosion if bat-
tery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only
with the same or equivalent type recom-
mended by the manufacturer. Dispose of
the used batteries according to the man-
ufacturer’s instructions.
Battery Safety
This product contains alkaline batteries.
This device requires batteries for use.
Only use new 1.5V alkaline D-sized bat-
teries. Never mix old and new batteries.
Keep all of the batteries out of the reach
of children. Do not open, disassemble,
puncture, cut, bend, shred or heat the
batteries and do not allow metal objects
to touch the battery terminals on the de-
vice as they can become hot and cause
burns. Remove all batteries if they are
worn out or before storing your Device for
an extended period of time. Dispose of all
batteries in accordance with applicable
laws and regulations and do not dispose
of batteries by throwing them into a fire.
If any batteries begin to leak, take steps to
prevent the fluid from coming into direct
contact with skin or clothes as the fluid
could be corrosive and may be toxic. Re-
move the batteries and clean the battery
compartment in accordance with the bat-
tery manufacturer's recommendations.
Maintaining your Ring Outdoor Siren
Ring Outdoor Siren is for outdoor use
only.
Your device is water resistant and is suit-
able for outdoor use. However, your
device is not intended for underwater
use. To protect against electric shock, do
not submerge or immerse your device or
batteries in water or expose your device
or batteries to other liquids. Do not spill
any food or beverages on your device
or batteries. Do not attempt to clean
or polish your device or batteries with
or expose your device or batteries to
oil, lotion, or other abrasive substances.
Do not expose your device or batteries
to salt water or other conductive liquids.
Do not expose your device or batteries
to pressurized water, high velocity water,
or extremely humid conditions (such as
a steam room). If your device or batter-
ies gets wet from immersion in water
or high pressure water, carefully dis-
connect all cables without getting your
hands wet and wait for them to dry com-
pletely before powering it on again. Do
not attempt to dry your device or bat-
teries with an external heat source, such
as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. To
avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch
your device or batteries or any wires con-
nected to your device during a lightning
storm while your device is powered. If
your device or batteries appears to be
damaged, discontinue use immediately.
Protect your device from direct sunlight.
Use only accessories supplied with
your device, or specifically marketed
for use with your device, to power your
device. Use of third-party accessories
may impact your device’s performance.
In limited circumstances, use of third-
party accessories may void your device’s
limited warranty. In addition, use of
incompatible third-party accessories
may cause damage to your device or
the third-party accessory. Read all safety
instructions for any accessories before
using with your device. Always make sure
that the power supply to everything you
are working on is properly isolated. If in
doubt, seek the assistance of a qualified
electrician. Refer to your local laws and
building codes before performing elec-
trical work; permits and/or professional
installation may be required by law.
