areas with flammable gases or flam-
mable vapors such as lighter fluid,
cleaners, oil-base paints, gasoline,
alcohol or explosive dust such as

only. Unplug power cord before
changing or cleaning filters.

objects being thrown into the eyes,
which can result in severe eye dam-
age. Always wear safety goggles
complying with ANSI Z87.1 (or in
Canada CSA Z94-3-M88) shown on

Cleaning

Your Airborne Filtration System consists
of two types of filters as shown under
“Removal”.
#1 - Pre Filter (intake)

Polyurethane foam

#2 - Fine Filter (mid-bag type)

Nonwoven polyester

In order to maintain peak performance
both filters need to be frequently

inspected. Both filters are somewhat frag-
ile - handle them carefully. Clean and/or
replace as directed below.
The 1st Stage Filter may be washed in
warm water with a mild detergent, dried
and then reinstalled. Check the 1st Stage
Filter for tears or small holes. Do not use
a filter with holes or tears in it. A replace-
ment 1st Stage Filter is available where
you purchased your Airborne Filtration
System. The model number is RF3001
The 2nd Stage Filter should be replaced
when it becomes clogged with fine dust. A
visual inspection can be done by sliding
the 1sr stage filter out and checking the
2nd Stage Filter. If the 2nd Stage Filter is
clogged with sawdust or has tears or
holes, replace immediately. A replace-
ment 2nd Stage Filter is available where
you purchased your Airborne Filtration
System. The model number is RF3002.
