RV100 series tools are capable of 2 functions riveting tool with all metal construction. RV100 tools are de-
signed for rivets and rivet nuts of all materials and have adjustable fixing screws allowing precise stroke length
control in rivet nut function. RV100 tools are capable fastening rivets up to 3/16” (5.0mm) and both metric
and SAE rivet nuts up to 1/4” (M6) with corresponding accessories. This tool is perfect for tight places with it
small profile design.

INSTALLATION/OPERATION
Fastening Rivet:

Select nosepiece for the size of blind rivets to be used.
•
Install the accessories as illustrated in Figure 1. If required, remove the rivet nut accessories by following the
steps in Figure 2 in reverse.

Insert rivet into tool while handles are open. You may also install the rivet into the work piece first.
•
Position tool for operation.
•
Squeeze the handles. Multiple strokes may be required for longer rivets.
•
When handles are released rivet stem will be automatically released. Discard/recycle the rivet stem.
Fastening Rivet Nuts:

Remove the rivet parts by following the steps in Figure 1 in reverse. Take
care during the removal as the jaw casing is spring loaded.
2. Select correct mandrel for the size of rivet nuts to be used.
3. Install the accessories as illustrated in Figure 2. Secure the accessories
with correct rotation as indicated below each of the accessories. Hold the
knob when installing the rivet nut mandrel.
4. Open handles to a comfortable distance, and screw rivet nut into the
mandrel. Adjust the fixing screw if necessary. (Figure 3)
5.
Position the rivet nut into the work piece.
6. Squeeze the handles.
7. Screw out the mandrel from the rivet nut by rotating the rod.
