The new master roll must be po-
sitioned as shown in the illustra-
tion.

Insert the paper edge of the mas-
ter roll under the arrow mark (1)
until you can see the leading
edge under the transparent
cover.

Return the pressure release lever
to its original position (2).

Rotate the spools backward to take
up any slack in the master.

Press the master cut button to
cut the leading edge of the mas-
ter roll. 

NOTE:
When the master cut button is
pressed, the master roll will ro-
tate. Do not touch the master
roll.

After the beeper sounds, remove
the cut-off portion of the master
roll.
