9.3  Dismantling ball valve with 

ball and stem 

 

It  is  possible  with  a  ball  valve  with  ball  and  stem  to 
replace the seat rings and ball without dismantling the 
entire ball valve. 

It  is  equally  possible  to  remove  the  packing  gland 
follower,  spring  gland  follower  and  packing  insert 
without dismantling the body. 

The  entire  ball  valve  must  merely  be  taken  apart  to 
remove the stem.
