6.4- Troubleshooting

Fails to split logs
Log is improperly positioned

Locate leak(s) and contact the

on Max. Pressure Limiting Screw.

The log pusher moves
jerkily,

unusual
sound or vibrating a lot
Lack of hydraulic oil and excessive
air in the hydraulic system.
Check oil level for possible
oil refilling. Contact the
dealer.
Oil leaks around cylinder

Loosen dipstick cap by few
turns before operating the log

Dipstick cap is not tightened

6.5- Servicing and cleaning
- Clean the machine thoroughly after each use!
- Two-hand guards: the combined clamping and control device must remain running smooth.
Lubricate occasionally with a few drops of oil.
- Moving parts: keep the splitting knife (wedge) guides clean. Lubricate the sliding rails with oil
spray or lubricating grease.
- Splitting knife (wedge): the splitting knife must be slightly lubricated before operation. This
procedure must be repeated after every 5 hours of use. Lightly apply grease or spray oil onto the
edge and lateral surfaces. The splitting knife must not run dry. Keep the splitting knife edge clean
