III. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 

 

 

WARNING

!  This product should only be used by trained users, who have thoroughly 

read this instruction manual. 

Only well-instructed adults should operate the product.  This product is not intended for 
use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental 
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given 
supervision or instruction or training concerning the use of the product by a person 
responsible for their safety.

Before using this product, carefully read and understand all the safety 
recommendations and instructions for safe operation. 
Follow and respect all the safety and operating instructions of the machine. Failure to 
do so increases the risk of accident and injuries. 
Keep this manual handy so that you may refer to it later whenever any questions arise. 
Always be sure to include this manual when selling, lending, or otherwise 
transferring the ownership of this product. 
Never allow children or anyone unable to fully understand the directions given in the 
manual to use the machine. 

 

Never operate this product when you are fatigued, ill, or upset, or under the influence 
of medication that may make you drowsy, or if you are under the influence of alcohol 
or drugs; or at any other time when a possibility exists that your judgment might be 
impaired or that you might not be able to operate the machine properly and safely. 

 

When you are planning your work schedule, allow plenty of time for resting. 
Limit the amount of time over which the machine is to be used continuously to 
approx. 30-40 minutes per session, and take 10-20 minutes of rest in-between work 
sessions. Try to keep the total amount of daily work to 2h or less. 
Respect rest periods and if necessary limit working hours to the minimum. 

 

A certain level of noise emission from the machine cannot be avoided. 
Schedule noisy works in accordance with local legislation and at specific times (seek 
advice from your local municipality) 
Check and follow the local regulations regarding sound level and hours of operations 
for the product. 

 

Continual and regular users should monitor closely the condition of their hands and 
fingers. If any symptoms appear (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome…), seek medical 
advice immediately. 
If you feel discomfort, redness of fingers, tingling or any pain on any part of the body, 
stop using the machine, and seek medical advice should the discomfort last. 

 

Dress properly and wear personal protective equipment: gloves; safety footwear, 
snug fitting clothing, goggles or face protection, hearing and head protection devices. 
Use vibration-proof gloves. 

 

Do NOT wear loose or too large clothing, short pants, jewelry, and sandals or go 
barefoot. 
In general, do not wear anything that might be caught by the machine moving parts. 
Secure long hair above shoulder height or tie them inside a hair net.
