18. DS New Style Only: If
reinstalling the OE rear
struts, install them to the
front seat back supports
using (4) 1/4-20 x 2”
Hex Head Bolts,
(4) 1/4-20 Nylock Nuts
and (8) 1/4” Flat Washers
(Bag #1, black arrows).
19. DS Old Style or Extended
Tops: If installing struts for
an old style DS or an
extended top, remove the
end caps from the front
corners of the utility box
(red arrow).
20. DS Old Style or Extended Tops: Insert the
struts inside of the utility box where the end
caps were removed. Fasten the struts to the
box using the hardware preinstalled on the box.
TOP-0108 rear struts are shown.
NOTE: RHOX 88” Tops require TOP-0108 rear
struts. DS Old Style requires TOP-0101 rear
struts (modification may be required).
21. Reinstall top using Original Hardware (if
applicable).
22. Tighten all hardware.
