Rheem Tankless is about one third the size of a
conventional water heater. Sophisticated
technology has reduced the size and increased
the features and benefits. A digital display makes
setting a precise water temperature, or monitoring
the unit’s status, a snap! Its compact size will leave
room for a water softener or extra storage.
PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Many user and installer-friendly features make
the Rheem Tankless the easiest tankless water
heater to own. The digital display makes it
simple to set the water temperature. Simply
set the desired temperature and walk away.
Because the water is heated only when it is
needed, the outgoing water temperature
remains constant.
SELF-DIAGNOSTIC
Should maintenance be required, the unit’s
self-diagnostic system will display a
maintenance code, which makes
troubleshooting quick, accurate and
less expensive.

All models are available in Natural Gas and Propane (LP). For Propane replace the N with P when ordering.
• Factory set temperature is 120° F for RTG2-42, RTG-53, RTG-66 and RTGL74 models. See Use and Care Manual for setting.
• For installations above 3,280 feet, adjustment is required. Refer to Rheem price list or consult factory for details.
• Consult factory for information on sizing the application.

Indoor models vent horizontally or vertically:
These water heaters have a built-in electric blower to force exhaust gas to the outside. Category III stainless steel vent is (UL1738 certified) required.
Type “B” vents are not permitted.

Maximum Hot Water Flow Rate and Temperature Rise
All indoor tankless units must be vented vertically
or horizontally to the outdoors using Category III
stainless steel venting material (No other venting
material is permitted). All indoor models require
stainless steel venting material.
