PRE-ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Before beginning assembly, you should check that 
all gas connections are still tight and that there are 
no gas leaks.

WAR N I N G

Before assembling the propane tank cover and using 
the fire table, make sure you have read, understand 
and are following all the information provided in the 
“Safety Instructions” section of this manual. Failure 
to properly follow the instructions may result in 
property damage, personal injury or loss of life.

PERFORM A LP GAS LEAK TEST

Make sure control knob is 

OFF

.

Turn LP gas cylinder 

ON

 at valve.

Prepare a leak checking solution by mixing 1 part 
dishwashing soap with 3 parts water in a spray 
bottle. Spray leak solution on valve connections 
paying particular attention to the areas indicated 
on 

Figures A & B.

 If any bubbles appear turn LP gas 

cylinder 

OFF

, reconnect and re-test. If you continue 

to see bubbles after several attempts, disconnect 
LP gas source and contact 1-800-762-1005 for 
assistance.

If no bubbles appear after one minute turn tank 

OFF

, wipe away solution and proceed.

CHECK LP GAS CONNECTIONS

Make sure the regulator valve and hose connections 
are securely fastened to the burner and the tank. If 
your unit was assembled for you, visually check the 
connection between the burner pipe and orifice. 
Make sure the burner pipe fits over the orifice.

WAR N I N G

Failure to inspect these connections or follow 
instructions may result in a fire or an explosion,  
which can cause property damage, personal injury  
or loss of life. 

Please refer to diagrams for proper installation. 

If the burner pipe does not rest flush to the orifice 
please contact 1-800-762-1005 for assistance.

POSITION LP GAS SUPPLY HOSE

Feed the propane supply end of the hose up 
through the bottom of the tank holder base as 
shown in 

Figure C.

 DO NOT feed the hose through 

the center circular portion of the base (this is where 
the propane cylinder will be seated).

Place the propane cylinder in the circular portion 
of the metal base (

Figure D: #1) 

and secure it by 

tightening the two thumb screws in the base as 
shown (

Figure D: #2).
