Options for Heading-, Stern- and Beam-line
Heading line
The heading line assigns the exact heading azimuth direction of the ship. It is a straight line, directed to the
bearing scale, beginning at CCRP.
It is mandatory, that heading line always must be shown. But it may be shortly suppressed, to look for small
targets, which may overlapped by the Heading line. This suppression is active for all synthetic lines and
symbols (See chapt 3.3.15).
Stern line
The stern line starts at CCRP and is directed opposite to heading line. It is shown
as short dashed line and ends at bearing scale.
To activate stern line, click menu button [SYSTEM].
If menu ‘Own Ship’ is not shown, click the menu headline to open a dropdown
window. Alternative, click [<] or [>] to scroll to the needed menu. There click
‘Own Ship’, to get beside shown menu. Then click the box beside of ‘Stern Line’ to
set a tick into. To deactivate, click onto the tick, to delete it.
Beam line
The beam line is mandatory with a length of minimum 10mm, positioned at CCRP.
It may be prolonged additional.
To change length of beam line, click menu button [SYSTEM]. Select menu ‘Own
Ship’ and click regarding arrow button for <Beam Line Length>, to prolong or to
shorten the beam line.

Suppress of synthetic lines
The regarding button is labelled with [SYNTH OFF] and is shown in right downside
corner beside of video image. Click and hold this button. All synthetics are
suppressed. Get off from button, activates at once all synthetics again.
