Chapter 6 Firmware Updates

Firmware Updates:

Ver 0.2 Mar, 11 2003

USB updates from Ver 0.1 to Ver 0.2:

Updates to the USB user software include the following:

1. Password protection is now available on the Ethernet interface. A four digit alpha-numeric password

can be set via the USB interface software

. The factory default password is “LINX”

. One can

easily find the password if forgotten by simply connecting through the USB interface.

2. The controller no longer needs to be connected to an amplifier to initialize V0.2 USB user software.
3. The USB software installation program now auto-detects the COM port upon initial installation.
