7. Connecting a seperate bell button
(Only for transmitter type 04281R2)
The separate bell button may not be connected with an existing bell system. The
battery must remain in the transmitter.
The connection clips A & B are connected for this purpose with a dual-core wire
system to the bell button. The bell button used must be unlit. Any available fluore-
scent or electric light bulbs must be removed.
8. Melody selection
The radio gongs melody selection takes place via the transmitter (Fig. 5).
Slide switch
: K1 – for 3-sound-tone, K2 – for Westminster-melody,
K3 – for polyphone melody
Slide switch
: „SeQ“ - for alternating melody at K3;
„SeT“ – to use a selected melody at K3
If slide switch
is at K3 then the gong plays a defined polyphone melody or
alternating polyphone melodies.
Pushing the slide switch
to „SeQ“ enables you to select the desired poly-
phone melody by pressing the transmitter. To ensure that the gong only plays this
selected melody the slide switch must be pushed to the „SeT“ position without
having pressed any other buttons in the meantime. If the slide switch remains in
the „SeQ“ position any random polyphone melody is played.
note: on changing the battery or changing a module respectively the melody is
automatically reset to a standard melody and must be reset if necessary.
