Performing the Real-Time Clock Calibration
Required equipment:
•
BiPAP Focus communications cable kit (P/N 1039800)
•
Utility software
NOTE:
The utility software requires you to use COM1 on the service PC. Do not
connect or use the BiPAP Focus USB cable while connected to a docking
station. Do not connect the BiPAP Focus USB cable through a USB hub.
Use of docking stations or USB hubs cause communication errors.
1. Record the serial number and model number
exactly
as they appear on
the bottom of the ventilator for use during calibration. This
information is required during system calibration (section 7.6).
2. Ensure that the ventilator is connected to AC power, then power up in
Diagnostic mode.
3. Connect the serial communications cable between the service PC and
the ventilator, with the software/RASP end connected to the ventilator.
4. On the service PC, open the Service Center Tools and select
Real-time
Clock Calibration
, then click the
Execute Tool
