7. On the I/O Module Setup tab, click the QC button to bring up a 7k I/O Module
window, which shows the raw data and the associated decoded data.
The status should be green (see
section
). If the status is not
green, this might be due to:
o
An incorrect driver
o
An error in the port parameters
o
No data or 1PPS pulse coming in
If the PPS pulse is not detected during sonar operation, the PPS status LED changes
from green to red and a warning appears and an alarm is generated in the SeaBat.
4.5.3 I/O Module Setup Check
The I/O module devices can be monitored on the main 7k I/O Module window (see
). This window is a property sheet with one tab for each sensor, the Clock and
Sound Velocity, and an Output and a Distribution tab.
