5. PREPARATION
5.1 Fuel
DANGER
• Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous. Check
“SAFETY INFORMATION” carefully before filling.
• Do not overfill the fuel tank, otherwise it may
overflow when the fuel warms up and expands.
• After filling, make sure the fuel tank cap is
tightened securely.
NOTICE
• Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a clean, dry, soft cloth, since fuel
may deteriorate painted surfaces or plastic parts.
• Use only unleaded gasoline. The use of leaded gasoline will cause
severe damage to internal engine parts.
Remove the fuel tank cap and fill the fuel into the tank up to the red level.

NOTICE
• Check oil levels before starting the engine. If empty, refill with
sufficient engine oil.
5.2 Engine oil
1. Place the generator on a level surface.
2. Remove the screws (1), and then remove the cover (2).
