3. Description of the Tool
The pliers work on the concept of full cycle crimp mechanism. A premature opening of the plier handles can
be executed by activating the integrated emergency quick release (hidden in picture). The plier head and
the indentor with crimping mold can be adjusted and manufactured to the user requirement (all the different
functions are described further in chapter 4) The cutting devices can be equipped with a manual cutting
blade advance (user will change the cutting knives idependently), or with a safety cutting system, whereby
the cutting blade automatically advances. The automatic locking mechanism and the exchange of cutting
systems are all identical for the tools listed in chapter 4 of this manual.
