Operation
a)
Changing the combination code
By default, the combination code is set to 000 and protected with a plastic safety latch (2).
Store the laptop case in a safe place to ensure that the combination code cannot be changed
before you use the case for the first time. The plastic safety latch must be intact. Follow the
steps below to change the combination code:
• Remove the plastic safety latch from the case.
• Open the lock using the release button (1).
• Slide the setting knob (4) to the left and hold it in place while you change the combination.
• Move the cogwheels (3) to the desired position.
• Release the setting knob and check that the new combination works by touching the release button when
the case is open. Do not forget the combination code, otherwise you will not be able to open the case.
b)
Using the case
• To open the case, move the cogwheels (3) to the preset combination.
• Place your laptop into the case and secure it in place using the straps.
• Open or close the case using the release button (1) (lift up to open and replace to lock).
• Carry the case using the handle.
• Stand the case on its feet on a level surface.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the case.
• The hinges can be oiled using a small amount of mechanical oil. Take care not to stain the inside of the
case.
