• Disconnect the mains cable at all poles from the mains supply by removing the
appropriate circuit fuse or switching off the circuit breaker. Then switch off the
appropriate earth-leakage circuit breaker. Secure them against unauthorized
restart, e.g. by installing a warning sign.
• Use a suitable measurement device to check the mains cable for absence of voltage.
Installation and connection
Follow the instructions in the section "Preparing installation"!
When drilling installation holes or tightening screws, make sure not to
damage any existing cables or pipes (e.g. water pipes).

1. Turn off the power at the fuse box.
2. Loosen the screws on the side and then remove the front part of the light.
3. Chose a proper spot and drill two holes for connecting the junction box. You may
use the junction box for marking the drill holes. We suggest an installation height
of 2 to 2.5 meters. Use the supplied dowels and screws, provided they are suitable
for the installation surface.
4. Remove the outer insulation of the mains cable to a length of maximum 16 mm.
Strip each of the three mains cable wires by approx. 6 mm. The cable of the
protective earth conductor (yellow-green cable) should be at least 6 mm longer in
order for it to remain the last inside the luster terminal in case of any malfunctions.
Remove the insulation of the
cable; figures 4, 5.
Guide the stripped mains cable from behind through the rubber seal of the junction
box. If necessary, slightly pierce the rubber seal in order to guide the cable through
it.
5. Connect the 3 wires of the mains cable to the 3-pin luster terminal (brown = L/
phase, blue = N/neutral wire, yellow-green = PE/protective conductor/earth
symbol). Also check the other screw connections (for the connection leads to the
LED driver) on the luster terminal, and tighten them if necessary.
6. Insert the two supplied rubber seals into the recesses of the junction box. Then
insert the screws and attach the junction box to the wall. Install the front part of
the light to the junction box and attach it with the two screws on the side. Make
sure the cables do not get bent or damaged in any other way. Then turn the power
on again.
Motion detector
When detecting a heat source, such as a person or an animal, the light will switch on.
The detection range is approx. 6 – 9 meters. The detection angle is 120
°
.
• Light sensitivity and operating time can be adjusted on top of the motion detector.
Turn the black cover downwards in order to expose the controls.
• Use a slot screwdriver to facilitate the settings.
• Adjust the light sensitivity on the left side. Turn the control clockwise in order for
the light to turn on under brighter light conditions. Turn the control anticlockwise in
order for the light to turn on under darker light conditions.
• Use the right control to adjust the operating time (the duration from the light turning
on until it turns off automatically). Turn the control clockwise in order to shorten the
operating time. Turn the control anticlockwise in order to increase the operating
time. You can set a time between 5 seconds and 8 minutes.

Maintenance and cleaning
• Never point the jet of a water hose or that of a high-pressure cleaner to the LED
light!
• This product does not require maintenance. Maintenance or repairs may be carried
out by a professional only. The LEDs are permanently installed and non-replaceable.
• Always disconnect the light from the mains supply before cleaning. Let the light cool
down sufficiently.
• Use a clean, soft, dry cloth to clean the product. Dust can be removed easily with a
clean, soft brush.
• Do not use any aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents as these may
cause surface discoloration or even changes in the material.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
