DRC (Dynamic Range Control) permits hearing low sounds more easily when the radio is used in a loud
environment.
(1) Push the ON/OFF button to switch on the radio.
(2) Keep the INFO button pushed. The display will show „Station List“.
(3) Then push the TUNING buttons until the display shows „DRC value“.
(4) Push the SELECT button to confirm.
(5) Then use the TUNING buttons to choose the desired DRC value (standard setting is 0).
DRC 0 – DRC is off. Sent DRC signals are not considered.
DRC 1 – DRC is used according to the transmitter information.
DRC 1/2 – The DRC level is set to half the value of the transmitter indication.
(6) Push the SELECT button to confirm the settings. The display then goes back to the frequency selection
mode.
Some DAB programmes do not permit use of the DRC function.
If the programme does not support the DRC function, the DRC setting of the radio has no effect.
