11.2 Operating the alarm control centre in HOME mode
This entry arms the alarm control centre and the loops that you deactivated in chapter “10.25 Activating
Loops for HOME Mode” cannot be triggered. You can thus move freely in the areas monitored by the sensors
connected to these loops without causing the alarm to sound.
11.2.1 Arming the alarm control centre in HOME mode with exit delay
In order for the programmed exit delay period to be observed and the corresponding loops to not be moni-
tored, proceed as follows.
Ensure that the alarm control centre is disarmed and that is has not sounded an alarm. In addition, no loop
LED should be lit or flashing.
• Enter one of the 8 programmed user codes.
• Press the “#” button for confirmation.
• The control panel confirms the correct input with two signal tones.
• The “EXIT/ARMED” LED and the deactivated loop LEDs flash during the exit delay time.
• During this time the beeper on the remote control unit may beep (depending on the programming).
• Once the exit delay time has passed, the “EXIT/ARMED” LED is lit, the activated loops continue to flash
and the beeper is silenced.
• The alarm control centre is now disarmed and the corresponding loops are deactivated.
11.2.2 Arming the alarm control centre in HOME mode without exit delay
This arming function should only be used if you do not activate a loop whilst leaving the building and only
move in the areas monitored by deactivated loops.
Ensure also that the alarm control centre is disarmed and that is has not sounded an alarm. No loop LED
should be lit or flashing.
• Enter one of the 8 programmed user codes.
• Press the “HOME” button and then the “2” button.
• Press the “#” button for confirmation.
• The control panel confirms the correct input with two signal tones.
• The “EXIT/ARMED” LED is lit and the deactivated loop LEDs flash.
• The alarm control centre has switched to armed status without any exit delay period being observed.
