Operation
• First switch off the drill and disconnect it from the mains voltage.
• Attach suitable hose connectors (not included) to the inlet and outlet of the pump and then attach the
hoses to them. Make sure the connections are airtight. Secure the hoses against slipping out. Use only
suitable hoses (suction hose on the suction side, pressure hose on the outlet side of the pump; observe
the flow direction markings on the pump).
• Open the drill chuck of the drill and clamp the drive shaft of the pump into it.
Secure the pump and the drill against twisting or banging around, otherwise there is a high risk of
injury!
Water contact with the drill, its power cord or mains plug must be prevented at all times, as this
may cause fatal electric shock!
Operation
• Put the end of the suction hose in the water to be pumped, making sure that no dirt can be sucked in. Put
the hose on the outlet side e.g. in a suitable container. Secure the hoses so that they do not slip.
• Open the shut-off valves, if any.
• Switch the drill to clockwise rotation; switch off any striking mechanism.
• Plug the drill to the mains voltage.
Secure the pump and the drill against twisting or banging around, otherwise there is a high risk of
injury!
• Now switch on the drill and allow it to run at high speed (max. 2800 RPM). The pump is self-priming. If
water is not pumped within 10-15 seconds, switch off the drill. Check the flow direction; pay attention to
the markings on the pump.
• When water is being pumped, the water flow rate can be regulated by changing the speed of the drill.
• If all water has been pumped out, e.g. from the aquarium, switch off the drill immediately.
Removing from service
• Switch off the drill and disconnect it from the mains voltage.
• Open the drill chuck of the drill used and disconnect the pump from the drill.
• Remove the hoses connected to the pump.
• Dry off the pump and store it in a dry, frost-free place out of the reach of children.
Cleaning
The pump has no user serviceable parts, so never open or dismantle it. Maintenance, repair and associated
pump dismantling may only be carried out by a specialist or a specialist workshop.
Use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth to clean the pump.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may dam
-
age the housing or prevent the product from functioning properly.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

Operating instructions
Drill pump
Item no. 2302374
Intended use
The drill pump (hereinafter referred to as “pump”) is intended for private use, e.g. in the hobby garden. Only
clear, clean fresh water is allowed as the pumped liquid. The temperature of the pumped liquid must not
35 °C.
The pump is designed to empty/fill small containers (e.g. aquariums, barrels) or to pump water out of defec
-
tive devices (e.g. washing machines). The pump must be driven by a conventional mains-operated drill with
quick-action chuck.
For safety reasons, you must not modify and/or change the pump. The pump may be damaged if you use it
for purposes other than those described above. Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a
safe place. The pump should be passed to third parties only with its operating instructions.
This product complies with statutory national and European regulations. All company and product names

Description of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in a triangle indicates that there is a risk to your health, e.g. due to
an electric shock.
The symbol with an exclamation mark in a triangle is used to highlight important information in
these operating instructions. Always read this information carefully.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and tips on how to use the product.
Safety information
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe in particular the safety instructions.
If you do not follow the safety information and information on proper handling in these
operating instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or dam-
age to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The pump is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for
children.
• Protect the pump from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, flammable
gases, vapours and solvents. Do not expose the pump to mechanical stress.
• Handle the pump with care. It can be damaged by blows, impacts or if it falls from a small height.
• Only clear, clean fresh water with a maximum temperature of +35 °C is allowed as the pumped
liquid. The pump is not suitable for conveying drinking water, corrosive/caustic, flammable or
explosive liquids (e.g. petrol, heating oil, cellulose thinner), fats, oils, salt water or waste water
from toilet facilities.
• The pump is not protected against dry running.
• The pump must not be operated unsupervised and it is not intended for continuous operation.
• Do not block off the suction/discharge side of the pump.
• Check the pump for damage before each start-up; the same applies to the drill that is used to
drive the pump. Do not use the pump if you discover any damage.
• If water leaks in the pump area during the pumping process, stop the pump immediately. Water
contact with the drill, its power cord or mains plug must be prevented at all times, as this may
cause fatal electric shock!
Otherwise, disconnect the mains socket to which the drill is connected on all poles (unscrew the
fuse or switch off the circuit breaker, switch off the ground fault circuit interrupter). Then unplug
the drill from the mains socket and do not use it anymore!
• When the pumping process is over (or during breaks at work), disconnect the drill from the
mains voltage by pulling the mains plug out of the mains socket.
• In the place of operation the ambient temperature must not be around or under the freezing
point (<0 °C). Otherwise, the water in the pump will freeze, with the resulting ice build-up caus
-
ing the pump to destruct. Store the pump in a dry, frost-free place in wintertime.
• Also observe the safety information and operating instructions for the other devices to which
the pump is connected.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
