Connection
• Connect the network adapter to a USB-C™ port on a computer. You may need to wait a few
moments while your computer installs the required drivers.
• Windows
®
XP and 7 (32/64 bit) users should download and install the driver “Gaming Family
Controller” from: www.realtek.com/en → Downloads → Communications Network ICs →
“Realtek USB FE / GbE / 2.5GbE / Gaming Family Controller Software Quick Download
Link”.
• The Link/Act LED for the RJ45 port lights during an active network connection and flashes
during data transfer.
• The power LED is lit when the network adaptor is supplied with power.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product and allow to cool down before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the envi-

Intended use
The product is a USB-C™ gigabit Ethernet adapter supporting ethernet speeds of up to
2.5 Gbps.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture must be avoided
under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.

a) General information
