Do not use force and avoid touching the
circuit board components when installing
the SSD.
• Place the SSD assembly into the enclosure with the
USB Type-C™ connector facing outward.
• Carefully slide the assembly all the way in.
Attach Metal Cover Plate
• The countersunk holes should be facing outwards.
• The metal cover plate should line up with the cutouts
for the USB Type-C™ port

• Screw the plate into the front of the enclosure using
the provided screws.
Do not overtighten the screws.
Connect to Computer
• Connect the M.2 SSD enclosure to USB host port via USB cable (not included).
• Refer to your computer operating instructions for information about how to format your M.2 SSD module
for use.
Aluminium Cover Sticker
If the enclosure is working fine and you do no need to open it again, you may adhere the aluminuim sticker
to the front pane.
Before fixing the sticker to the front panel,
make sure it is lined up with the hole for
the LED activity indicator

• Remove the adhesive backing and adhere the
sticker as shown.

The LED activity indicator

allows you to monitor the M.2 SSD module activity.
Do not remove the enclosure from the host computer while the LED is flashing. This could
damage the drive or the enclosure resulting in data loss. Refer to your computer operating
system instructions on how to properly disconnect an external drive from your computer.
• When the enclosure is powered, the LED will light up.
• While the SSD is being accessed, the LED will blink.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the product before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause
damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.

Intended Use
This M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure with USB Type-C™ port is a portable data storage solution for your computer.
You can use your M.2 SSD module as a high-speed storage device over a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection, with
throughput speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
result in other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product
available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

• Before connecting an external SSD drive to a USB interface on your computer, check that the
interface can deliver sufficient current to power the SSD. It is possible a USB interface (e.g.
USB 2.0) cannot supply enough current to run an external SSD causing damage or loss of
data. Other factors such as cable type, cable length and number of peripherals connected to
the same USB interface can affect performance. If the USB interface cannot power the SSD,
you may opt to connect it through a USB hub with external power supply.
