Installation

  When drilling holes in walls or when bolting to walls, ensure that no cables or lines are 

damaged.

•  The cable box has a black mounting bracket with two mounting holes. 
•  Take the cable box and hold the mounting holes of the bracket on the desired mounting location.
•  Mark the mounting holes with a pencil.
•  Drill the mounting holes.
•  Attach the cable box to the mounting place using suitable mounting material.

Connection and Getting Started

  The specified connected power of 2000 W is possible only if the cable of the cable box is 

unwound fully.

 

If the cable is rolled up, the maximum connected power is 1400 W.

•  Connect a consumer load to the mains socket of the cable box. 
•  Connect the main plug of the cable box to the mains power socket.
The LED of the cable box lights up in red (Power LED).

  After activation of the thermal protection, the cable box - after a certain waiting time (= cooling 

down time), can be put into operation again by pressing the red button. 

Care and cleaning

  Make sure the cable box is de-energised during cleaning. For this purpose, remove the main 

plug of the cable box from the mains socket.

•  This product is maintenance-free.
•  Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause 

damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

•  Clean the product with a dry, fiber-free cloth.
•  Make sure the cable box never comes into contact with liquids.

Disposal

  Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At 

the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations. 

You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended use

This cable box with thermal fuse is suitable for the connection of a consumer load of up to max. 2000 W.
In addition, the cable box features a cable management with automatic retractor and a mounting bracket 

for wall mounting.
Only connect the cable box to a standard mains socket (230 V/AC, 50 Hz, with protective earth conductor) 

connected to the public mains.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be 

avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product 

for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can 

cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. 

Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

•  Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

 - is no longer working properly,

 - has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

•  Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage 

the product.

•  Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected 

to the product.

•  Only connect the cable box to a standard mains socket (230 V/AC, 50 Hz, with protective earth 

conductor) connected to the public mains.

•  Do not cascade the cable box. Never connect multiple cable boxes in series.
•  Never touch the main plug or the mains plug of the cable box with wet or damp hands, when 

trying to connect to the cable box. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!

•  Never pull out a mains plug, that is connected to the cable box, by pulling on the cable. Always 

pull the plug from the cable box by gripping the area provided for this purpose on its sides. The 

same applies to the main plug of the cable box.

•  Do not overload the cable box.
•  If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is connected 

to the mains, do not touch the cable box or the connected device! First switch off the power 

socket into which the cable box is plugged, disconnect all the pins (switch off the automatic 

circuit breaker or pull out the fuse. Finally, switch off the associated FI protection switch). You 

can then remove the main plug of the cable box from the mains socket. Take the product to a 

specialist workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.

•  Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. There is a danger of fire or of a fatal electric shock. 
•  Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•  Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a 

qualified shop.
