b) Basic functions
Switching on/off
•
To use the Standby feature or to switch off, press the ON/OFF button(1) or button (24) on the remote control.
In Standby mode the display (4) shows date and time.
General Operation
•
Turning the rotary dial (8) sets the volume and allows you to select functions and change settings in the menu.
• Pressing the rotary dial (8) as you would a conventional button confirms a selection or a setting.
•
You can adjust the volume via the remote control via buttons (27) and (28). The button (13) mutes the
sound.
•
To navigate through the menu via the remote control use the arrow buttons (16).
•
Use the LEFT (5) button to go one step back for many functions and settings.
•
Use the RIGHT (6) button to go one step forwards for many functions and settings.
•
You can go through the various operation modes by using the button MODE (19). Pressing this button makes the
device switch to the next operation mode.
•
The MENU (7) button or (20) opens the internet radio’s main menu.
Other key functions
•
The PRESET (3) button or the buttons
(15) and (25) bring you directly to your favourites list, in order to
save stations or to select saved stations.
•
Button (17) opens the settings for the alarm..
•
The DIMMER button (31) opens the settings for display brightness.
•
In Standby mode the display brightness can be adjusted by turning the rotary dial (8).
•
The LOCAL (2) button or (23) accesses a selection of local stations whereby you can select local stations from a
range of categories.
•
Button (18) opens the settings for the Sleep Timer.
•
Button EQ (29) opens the settings for the equaliser.
•
The button (21) starts or stops playback of internet radio stations.
•
The buttons (22) and (30) select the next or the previous station from the list of stations just heard.
•
The INFO (32) button accesses information on the network and the device’s system.
