c)  Bluetooth

®

 mode

To use the audio receiver in the Bluetooth

®

mode, it must first be connected with the Bluetooth

®

device. This process is called pairing.

  In the Bluetooth

®

mode, the audio playback occurs via the connected audio cable.

Therefore, the supplied audio cable must be connected to an audio input of your

audio device.

Pairing

If your audio device supports playback from USB flash drives, you must switch the

audio receiver manually to the Bluetooth

®

mode first by pressing and holding the

button (6).

•  After plugging into the USB port, the LED indicator (8) blinks rapidly indicating the pairing

readiness.

•  Turn on your mobile phone with which the audio receiver is to be paired, and activate pairing

mode here (for more information, see the instruction manual of the corresponding device).

Now the device searches for Bluetooth

®

 devices in the reception range.

•  Once the audio receiver has been found, your mobile phone device displays its name (USB KIT).
•  Select the audio receiver on your mobile phone.
•  After successful pairing, the LED indicator (8) glows continuously blue and a signal tone

sounds.

•  The audio playback occurs after successful pairing via the audio input of your audio device,

to which the supplied audio cable is connected. Select this input on your audio device, if you

have not yet done so.

Use as a hands-free system

The device is equipped with an echo suppressor and an audio filter to enable good

voice quality.

•  Dial a call number using the keypad of your mobile phone.

To stop the dialing process: Press the   button (6) briefly

Music playback via Bluetooth

®

•  Start music playback on your mobile phone. The playback occurs via Bluetooth

®

 on your

audio device.

•  Press the   button (6) briefly to start or stop the playback.
•  Press the

button (2) briefly to select the previous title.

•  Press and hold the

button (2) to decrease the volume.

•  Press the

button (7) briefly to select the next title.

•  Press and hold the

button (7) to increase the volume.

•  To switch to the playback from the inserted memory card (MP3 player mode) in this mode,

press and hold the   button (6). A corresponding message sounds.

•  To switch from MP3 player mode again to music playback via Bluetooth

®

, press and hold the

 button (6) twice.

If your audio device supports playback from USB flash drives, you must select the

audio input again when switching back to the Bluetooth

®

 playback on your audio

device, because it automatically switches to the USB playback (PC) mode during

the switching process.

Both during music playback via Bluetooth

®

and in the MP3 player mode, the music

playback will be automatically interrupted with an incoming call and resumed after

the call is over.

Care and cleaning

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions

since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.

Use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
